No questions please, we're Republicans

Watch Jack Cafferty here on Crooks and Liars just devastatingly right on about iron grip on power in Washington. There is no oversight of Bush and the and into whatever they are doing with Americans' phone records. None. Arlen Specter makes some mediocre noise about hauling the phone companies in yet Bill Frist says, we'll discuss if we need to have hearings. Bill Frist is of the "no questions please" we're Republicans and we know best school of democracy.

So with Bush's track record, do you trust him when he says it's fine, it's legal, we're not trolling into private lives? Really? More assertions, no explanations.

Unless there's a change in the congress, Bush and his Republican followers are going to keep on doing whatever they deem necessary in the name of the war on terror.
