Allen's woes mean dough for Webb

Update in the Post today on Webb's phenomenal fund raising growth over the past three months. Now has enough to really give Allen a run for his money, so to speak.

This is really the enjoyable, David and Goliath Senate race. Now if Webb can just keep it up and needle Allen enough in that upcoming debate...

By the way, the Foley scandal may have taken the focus off George Allen for a bit. But it's kept character and ethics issues front and center. That certainly doesn't help Allen whose foibles are of that sort - questionable racial insensitivities by the handful, strange discomfort with his Jewish heritage...that's character stuff. And those issues are hot right now, clearly.
