Oh, is that what they're calling censorship these days?

Josee Verner, speaking in circles yesterday:
"Some in the film and television industry are worried that this provision is tantamount to censorship. This is absolutely not the case; it is simply a matter of responsibility and integrity. Producers will remain free to finance their projects without public funding." (emphasis added)
See you silly entertainment industry types and Canadian citizens? It's not censorship, it's just responsibility and integrity at work.

And Ms. Verner is even going to try to recruit members of the entertainment industry to help in drafting the "responsibility" and "integrity" guidelines which will determine when your production is just too darn salty. Good luck with getting those volunteers.
