Maxime Bernier: strike fourteen

Um, this has to be some kind of record in bumbling at this point. It's about time we got round to Maxime's expense accounts! He never fails to disappoint: "Bernier's $22,573 airfare."
With the additional cost of hotels and meals, the total bill to taxpayers was about $70,000. Bernier's flight was the most expensive flight taken by a government minister or official since the Harper government took power two years ago, according to government records.
Well, look on the bright side, Maxime. At least you're setting records now!

Oh, and more on the judgment front:
Foreign Affairs Minister Maxime Bernier's former girlfriend had ties to Montreal crime figures long after her 1999 divorce from an outlaw biker and was living with a man with underworld links as recently as 2005.
This latter report really should warrant a strike fifteen, but since it's Friday, I'll give Maxime a break. Because, you just know, it'll be comin' round the bend any day now anyway...:)
