Grassroots having an impact?

CP tonight:
Michael Ignatieff's hopes of being crowned Liberal leader this week have hit a snag as rank-and-file members rebel against the prospect of being shut out of the process.

Party brass scrambled Monday to come up with an accelerated mechanism that would give grassroots members a say in choosing a successor to Stephane Dion - rather than leave the choice to Liberal MPs and senators at a caucus meeting Wednesday.

Insiders said four different proposals would be floated during a national executive conference call Monday evening.
Good for them.
