Some letters to the editor

Another one on the Harper profile in last weekend's Globe:

October 7, 2008

Kingston, Ont. -- Letter writer Shaun Hunter (The Long View Of Harper - Oct. 6) says he's been persuaded to vote for Stephen Harper because Mr. Harper wouldn't let anyone copy his high-school homework. Is this the same "straitlaced" man who was okay with copying John Howard's homework in 2003?
And that prolific letter writer once again:

(Re: Mr. Harper's Attempted Poker Bluff) "The fundamentals of our economy are sound." So went Mr. Harper's grand attempt to bluff Canadians during the election debates. Fiddling a laissez-faire philosophy while the economy burns is not leadership but the abdication of responsibility. Doing nothing is not the right option and a poker face will not do.

That powerful little tool, the letter to the editor. Short and to the point, that's how you do it...:)
